I remember first seeing"Tom Terrific"on "Captain Kangaroo"weekday mornings on The CBS TV Network as far back as 1958.

Don't confuse Tom Terrific with Tom Slick (in his Thunderbolt Greaseslapper).

Tom Terrific was teriffic alright but my favorites were George of the Jungle and Super Chicken!
