Colorforms
Colorforms
This was a collection of colored plastic sheets with rectangular, triangular, and circular cutouts of various sizes. The cutouts would stick to a backing sheet of coated cardboard (and to each other) and could be used to create all sorts of artwork.

I had a set of those, it was based on Irwin Allen's "Land of the Giants" TV series.

I had the Snoppy set of Colorforms and played with it for years. I was able to dress the different characters in all sorts of outfits. I think I wore it out and Mom had to throw it away.

Did the set include cutouts in the shape of letters and numbers? I don't recall that in the children's version, but I'm not sure. My parents made animated titles for their 8mm home movies, and may have employed a set like that to do so.
