Actually the Pillsbury name is around (shared by General Mills, Smucker's, and some Idaho potato company). The Funny Face trademark is owned by General Mills.

There was a version of Funny Face that didn't have sweetener (sugar had to be added) but it wasn't very popular.

Chuck, I'm with you on resurrecting Funny Face. If they kept the original nostalgic art, I'd buy it just to save the envelopes. Well, yeah, that and to drink it. :)

The Pillsbury company is still around, they should re-launch Funny Face just for nostalgia's sake. Funny Face would be a big seller. Everyone should petition Pillsbury to return Funny Face to the national consciousness.

I thought it was Lefty Lemon; ballplayer? They could've done Limey Lime, with a big mustache, monocle and bowler hat.

The cartoon characters were hilarious. But as another poster said, Kool-Aid was our drink of choice.

These were originally made with Cyclamates, which many scientists now say was the absolute best tasting sugar substitute and that the cancer danger was wildly inflated out of all proportion. We actually loved these.

I think Injun Orange was changed to Jolly Olly Orange.

Try as they might, the Funny Face drink mixes would never replace Kool Aid as the top favorite of my family.

There was also Lefty Lime.

The original flavors included Chinese Cherry and Injun Orange, which resulted in TV commercials featuring unfortunate stereotypes and necessitated renaming the flavors. One such commercial can be seen here.
