@Duff A "love song" Hannibal Lecter would approve of, LOL BTW - - ". . .spelunking in a southern California cave." Mitchell Caverns perhaps? Not a lot of caves here in SoCal, aside from small beach ones. Mitchell is a pretty good cave though.

Two of my friends met while spelunking in a southern California cave.  One of them was singing :I Hold Your Hand in Mine: at the time: I hold your hand in mine, dear I press it to my lips I take a healthy bite from Your dainty fingertips My joy would be complete, dear If you were only here But still I keep your hand as a precious ... souvenir Nobody writes a love song like that anymore.

Ah, 'The Masochism Tango'! I once auditioned for a community theater production of 'An Evening With Tom Lehrer'. This was the audition piece.
