I built a bunch of these for my dad as a young boy...all three of us (myself and two brothers) learned at a VERY EARLY age (prolly beginning at 8 or 9) how to solder, strip wires and follow instructions...also built a bunch of EICO test equipment for dad's TV repair shop in Fort Lee, NJ

Heathkit (and Allied) sure made a lot of money off of me. Always wanted the Oscilliscope kit but could never afford it. Kids today will never learn the lesson of "appreciating something you built yourself." It's a disposable world now.
