I remember recently they brought back bell-bottoms, but only for the ladies. I was hoping for a comeback for us men, but no soap, couldn't get any here.

in 1965, bell bottoms were mandatory, I was in the Navy till 1969, I thought they were cool anyway

Being a confirmed nerd, it took me a while to try bell bottoms, but once I got a pair (around 1970) they were all I'd wear. I also let my hair grow long, and even briefly tried a mustache. Oooh, daring! I looked really creepy.
