Around the turn of the millenium I was at a 4th of July party. We were in the back yard with a hula hoop and suddenly we heard excitement from the neighbor across the fence... it was a national champion hula hooper. She came over to show us her talents.

Impressive, Rick! I thought I was good when I could start on my neck, move to each arm, down to my waist and then to my knees and back up. Duff, I also now have that waist diameter to hoop diameter ratio thing going.

I used to be able to do it while walking up or down stairs. I can hardly hoop at all anymore; something about the hoop-diameter-to-waist-size ratio...
