Just saw pizza dough being tossed last week, at Pennini's Pizza, in Moraga, CA.

Personally, I think hand-tossing gets too much air in the dough, making it too thin and floppy.  Then the cheese and toppings fall off when the pizza is picked up to be eaten...  Shouldn't have to use utensils to eat pizza.

At least two non-chain neighborhood pizzarias in the Bronx still toss 'em!

small town Indiana and Michigan at "mom and pop" pizzarias in the 60-80's still tossed the pizza dough. Modern chain places don't have a clue.

Only saw it in the snack bar ads at the drive-in.
